After owning Buelly for a couple of weeks, it was already becoming very clear how much this bike encourages ‘silly’ behaviour… not dangerous, or stupid, just ‘silly’ and ‘fun’. Such as jumping off curbs, riding through nature-strips, (trying) to power-slide on gravel roads, etc.

I realised that type of riding will increase the chances of getting a puncture, and that I could have some fun experimenting with tyre pressures (riding on gravel, sand, dirt, etc).

So I found a small ‘Slime’ 12v air-compressor to run from one of the Uly’s two 12-Volt regulated power outlets. The compressor is a nice design, very small and inflates a flat 180/55v17 rear tyre in about 5 minutes, without draining the battery any noticable amount.
