Some URLs to my blog were broken for a few days, since I updated my Typo install.
Seems the Typo structure has changed; with the “articles” virtual-directory removed from all paths… as far as I can tell.
I have no proof, but I assume (hope) this isn’t an indication that caching is different now.
Anyhoo, to “fix” the previous URL’s I used a simple RewriteRule in the apache2 config for this host:
# fix for new version of Typo (5.0 -> 5.2) RewriteRule ^(.*)(/articles/)(.*)$ http://www.jl.sg/$3
PS - Damn Apache has it all over IIS in so many ways.
